The foundations of Sociability have been built upon reciprocal support and the enormous value supporting each other can provide. In addition to the social element, we have invested into the mental wellbeing positives which can be achieved by returning to nature. Our new venue the 'Guard House' is set within the country park of Wat Tyler, this provides the ideal location to aid mental health recovery. Taking part in our activities while surrounded by the beauty of the park can help reduce feelings of generalized anxiety, stress and depression. Our sessions are all overseen by qualified members of staff and abide to the BACPs ethical framework (membership 00930244).
Sociability provides a variety of meaningful activities designed to challenge unhealthy patterns of behaviour and improve mental wellbeing.
To find out what activities are available, a description covering all activities are over on our sessions page.
PHBs are regarded as a means of giving you more control over the support you receive. They provide you with the option to decide where you believe you would receive the best support. If you have been under the mental health team within the last six months or you are on their records, you should be eligible.
